Interviews

Interviews were one of the main methods of research for this project. I interviewed queer people who are presently working in the field of conservation. I decided to conduct interviews because stories and experiences from queer people in the field add a real-world lens and provide context to the theories found in the literature. This is critical because having examples from people currently working in the fields of conservation and ecology makes inclusive conservation seem more attainable and possible. I interviewed a variety of people who work in different areas of wildlife conservation and queer ecology.

There are full transcrips of the interviews I conducted. These interviews are with Lauren Esposito, Carla Littleton, and David Mizejewski.
