Major Themes Identified

LGBTQ+ people have unique life experiences that are able to positively impact conservation and ecology.  

LGBTQ+ people have the ability to think in non-heteronormative ways and lead conservation efforts unlike others by bringing a queer approach that is creative and challenges binary thinking.

Common themes in the LGBTQ+ liberation movement are able to make the conservation movement more engaging and accesible. The themes are:

• Attention to community building
